University students enrolled at an Australian uni, 18+, with the legal right to work here. We verify all three during sign-up — including automated visa checks — so hirers know every worker is the real deal.
What kind of work can I post (or do)?
Pretty much anything legal and safe — hospitality shifts, events, warehousing, retail, admin, IT, cleaning, gardening, pet care, tutoring, errands and more. Businesses and households both welcome. No prohibited or adult work, ever.
Who actually employs the workers?
It depends who's hiring. For business shift work, workers are legally employed by our licensed labour hire partner — a major national workforce company — which handles pay, super, tax, WorkCover and insurance; you get one invoice. For household odd jobs, students work with you directly through the marketplace and you pay by card — plus every household holds WorkCover Queensland's $60 Household Workers' Insurance (unless equivalent cover already exists) and agrees to our simple house rules. Direct permanent hires? You employ them like any staff member.
